GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and handling materials to support production operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, and a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick and stage materials for production orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Receive, verify, and store incoming shipments, including drop ship products
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper tracking and system updates
- Verify product quantities and report discrepancies
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cycle counts as assigned to support inventory accuracy
- Complete put-away of received materials in designated storage locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment (5S standards)
- Support other departments and cross-train in additional areas as needed
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
- Forklift experience.
- One year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of 5S
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, UPS shipping/tracking systems)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail with solid reading comprehension skills
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities
