Job Description

All accountabilities of the Pharmacy or Allied Health student are performed under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. 

  1. Obtains and verifies medications for distribution to the patient care units.  
  2. Distributes medications to the patient care units.   
  3. Orders medications from various suppliers.  
  4. Prepares parenteral products 
  5. Maintains the medication inventory, place orders in stock.  
  6. Performs other duties as directed/requested.   
  7. Prepares data reports assisting in data analysis upon request 
  8. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers. 

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English 
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program or an allied health program Must meet one (1) of the following licensure/certification requirements: 
    • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee  
    • Registered as a Pharmacy Intern  
    • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Pay Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of Cape Cod Healthcare’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
