Program Coordinator, Youth Development
Position Summary
Lifeline Services is hiring a Youth Development Program Coordinator to support our growing team. Under the supervision of the Youth Development Program Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Youth Development Department with day-to-day program operations to include intake, and administrative tasks. Responsible for completing documents and reports and submitting them within deadlines, proof reading, scheduling, file management, quality assurance, data entry, maintenance, intake, and program specific projects. Must be a multi-tasker with consistent attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Candidate responsible for onboarding and training of new staff and for quality assurance, including understanding and monitoring the completion of program objectives, and troubleshooting issues regarding data, flex fund spending, contract audit requirements, etc. and for notifying supervisors of potential problems. Must demonstrate knowledge of trauma informed, client driven, and culturally competent care.
We're looking for a candidate that possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and on a team; Ability to think critically and address situations as they arise and excellent problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Training in Child Abuse and/or Other Perspective Issues.
- Knowledge/Familiarity of Juvenile Justice System.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists with quality assurance activities, including desk reviews and internal/external program audits, and provides ongoing feedback, troubleshooting, and updates to Managers and the Director.
- Completes and submits monthly and quarterly reports, claims and other contract-related data to Program Manager/Director and contractors/funders on time and accurately.
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, or group activities
- Works with support staff throughout the entire agency to support smooth running of program activities and agency needs.
- Assist with reception coverage on a weekly basis or as needed
- Assists Program Managers and Directors with hiring processes, including reviewing applications, scheduling interviews and conducting phone screenings, and assists with onboarding of new staff, interns and trainees across department programs.
- Manages supply inventory and ordering across multiple offices, ensuring items remain stocked and office and staff needs are consistently met
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Compensation
- Full Time, 40 Hours, Non-Exempt
- Monday to Friday, occasional weekends with advanced notice
- Minimum of 2 late shifts per week, available until 7:30pm
- [ $23-$26] Salary will commensurate with experience and education. Differential pay offered for bilingual skills. EEO.
Additional Requirement
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record.
- Willing to use your own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).
- Employment subject to clearances, including background fingerprinting checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing.
