Position Duties

Alamance Community College (ACC) is seeking a full-time, Biosciences Faculty for instruction of anatomy and physiology courses. This employee will assist in the day-to-day classroom management of assigned course sections. The teaching load may vary semester to semester, depending on enrollment and course assignments.

This position interfaces with students, college faculty & staff, and the department head. Faculty will ensure student learning outcomes are met and student retention is addressed. Administrative requirements are also a critical function of this position as it relates to grading, documenting student attendance and course progress.

An ACC on-line application MUST be fully completed for consideration, which includes a required letter of interest, transcript attachment. Resume attachments are welcome but will not be accepted in lieu of complete application.  

For faculty positions, all relevant full- and part-time teaching experience, including start and end dates of employment, should be included on the application. Also, all relevant full- and part-time work experience related to the teaching discipline should be included on the application, including start and end dates.
