HOOPP’s Structured & Private Credit team is comprised of five professionals that invest across a wide spectrum of corporate and asset-based credit strategies and instruments. What you will do:
Possess excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially presentation and Excel skills including financial modelling
Be proficient in Python programming and business intelligence / visualization tools
Be pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree at university
Have a keen interest in credit investments, particularly structured & private credit
Have aptitude for analyzing documents and summarizing pertinent information
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Work well in a dynamic, fast-moving team-based environment and drive an independent workstream
Be an enthusiastic self-starter, with an urgency to get things done
Be curious about and have an interest in applying research and technology in the context of understanding markets and building tools
Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations
Be a quick learner with technology
Return to their studies after the work term is completed
What you will bring:
Enrolled in a University degree in Commerce, Finance, Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or Math
Extracurricular activities demonstrating diverse skills and perspectives.
Successful completion of one or two Co-op terms or other previous related work experience
Demonstrated excellent Microsoft Office, Python programming and problem-solving skills
Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on teamwork.
The expected hourly rate range for this role is $26.00 to $40.00
The actual hourly rate offered to the successful candidate may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, individual's expertise and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
