Project Manager

Position Summary:

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

You will coordinate across departments to manage assigned projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget, continuously monitoring performance and driving corrective actions to address deviations from the project baseline.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct oversight and management of the five phases of capital projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Ensure thorough understanding of technical requirements and consistently uphold compliance with these specifications throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the project's commercial scope and ensure its consistent implementation throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. This should include the financial strength of the projects assigned.
  • Lead engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, vendors, and subcontractors that are responsible for various phases of the project to quickly resolve issues and keep projects on schedule and plan for corrective actions in case of deviation from the project scope.
  • Perform project performance analysis with key indicators and reports including working with accounting to forecast cashflow and ensuring compliance with baseline scheduling
  • Professionally communicate with customers and lead regular meetings to proactively advance projects, ensuring Morgan meets all client expectations by maintaining clear communication and driving project progress.
  • Maintain a high level of organization to oversee and manage project documentation. Ensure all project meeting notes, communications, and progress photos are accurately and promptly documented. 
  • Conduct postmortem analysis at the conclusion of the project to improve processes


Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree in a technical field, preferably mechanical or industrial (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Engineering background preferred, with manufacturing and procurement experience
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera or MS Project
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead teams and work directly with the customer base
