Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, prior to services
- Review, process, and maintain patient accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, account balances, and payment options
- Post patient payments and reconcile accounts as needed
- Ensure all required documentation is current, complete, and compliant with payer guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to resolve account-related issues
- Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and privacy standards (HIPAA)
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs
