Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This role is perfect for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, thrives in a team environment, enjoys interacting with guests, and is eager to contribute to the smooth operations of an upscale dining establishment.

 

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

  • Guest Support: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Table Bussing and Resetting: Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a clean and welcoming dining area.
  • Silverware and Glassware: Polish and roll silverware and polish glassware to maintain the highest standards of presentation
  • Food Delivery: Assist servers by traying up and delivering food to guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reservation Management: Use the OpenTable app to assist with seating guests and managing reservations when needed.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and service areas.
  • Professional Appearance: Uphold a polished and professional appearance at all times, adhering to the restaurant’s grooming standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, hosts, dish and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Age Requirement: Must be 19 years or older.
  • Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for the restaurant.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the restaurant.
  • Licensing: Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Non-Gaming License (casino requirement).
  • Technology Proficiency: Must be comfortable using the OpenTable app for assisting with reservations and seating arrangements.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent service under pressure.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items (such as trays and buss tubs) throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
