**This position features a competitive pay that will commensurate with experience. In addition, eligible employees who waive the health insurance benefit can earn an additional $1.50/hour.**
Driver Description
This full-time position works 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for occasional earlier or later appointments. The Driver is responsible for scheduling and providing safe, timely transportation for residents to and from medical appointments and activities, while delivering a courteous and supportive experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Schedule medical appointments and coordinate transportation efficiently
- Communicate appointment details with residents and nursing staff
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments and activities
- Assist residents on and off the vehicle with care and professionalism
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Track mileage and attendance accurately
- Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed
What We’re Looking For
- Compassionate and patient personality
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Good driving record
- Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable sitting/driving for extended periods
