Perricone Juices (aka Perricone Farms), a leading citrus juice supplier located in Fort Pierce, FL. We are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Shift / Hours2nd Shift @ 11am - 7:30p: Tuesday - Saturday





Position Summary



The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment used in juice manufacturing and packaging operations. This position supports continuous production by performing preventative maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Comply with all environmental, food safety, and workplace safety regulations including GMP, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all PPE and sanitation requirements for food manufacturing.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and packaging equipment including fillers, pasteurizers, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, and labeling equipment.

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems used in juice processing operations.

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and production line issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

  • Assist with maintenance of processing equipment such as pasteurizers, blenders, juice transfer systems, tank systems, and CIP equipment.

  • Adjust and repair mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Support installation, modification, and improvement of production equipment and systems.

  • Perform routine safety inspections and operational checks on machinery and facility systems.

  • Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment documentation in accordance with company procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with production supervisors and operators regarding equipment performance and maintenance needs.

  • Assist with facility maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, and building systems as required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability.

  • Support sanitation and production teams during clean-in-place (CIP), changeovers, and scheduled shutdown maintenance activities.
