Description
The Restaurant Server is attentive and efficient, and can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service and have excellent communication with the kitchen team. This role requires being knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
Act with integrity and honesty
Alert management to any and all issues that arise at a table.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all service areas.
Properly mark all tables for each course before delivery of food to the table.
Clear each course promptly using clearing guidelines outlined in the sequence of service.
Continuously review menu items, and keep up-to-date with all changes.
Alert chef to all allergies.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Follow all responsible alcohol practices. Card all guests who appear under the age of 40 and never serve alcohol to an intoxicated guest.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs and stand up to 8 hours per shift.
Basic understanding of the English language (written and verbal).
Excellent communication skills.
Master of time management.
Must have intimate knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including full ingredient descriptions and all associated food allergies.
ServSafe Alcohol and Food Allergen or equivalent. Will provide training for qualified individuals.
