Description

The Nashville office of Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete seeks an associate with 1-3 years of experience, based in the state of Tennessee. The candidate for this role will ideally reside near Nashville for remote and/or in-person work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Additionally, experience with witness interviews and the drafting of Statements of Position for the EEOC is highly valued. Significant experience in labor and employment law is preferred; but candidates with strong litigation experience and an interest in labor and employment will be considered. Candidate must have good academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have active admission to practice and be in good standing in the State of Tennessee.
