Position Description

This position involves defining and executing the “Run Rate” channel & distribution business in Mumbai. Volume channel business is critical to the success of Lenovo’s strategy to be the most trusted advisor for data center customers. Small and medium business customer segment, which this channel motion serves, is an exponentially growing segment. Scaling this growth in partnership with the channels has been identified as a key priority. This position is offers an excellent opportunity to grow with an organization that thrives in owning opportunities and driving breakthrough growth. 
 
Key Responsibilities

Work with Product & Marketing Managers to:
To create annual and quarterly business plans that meet or beat revenue and profit objectives for the Autonomous channel business

Define a market strategy and related programs to ensure proper market coverage

Work with the regional team to create quarterly Promotions to drive sell-through & sell-out

Drive demand generation activities in a timely manner

Identify business issues before they occur and execute mitigation plans

Ensure interaction and feedback from T2 Partners

Compare with trends in the local marketplace for workloads and seasonal demand changes

Provide feedback to product teams on local needs and demands

Track and report business within the business management framework

Ensure tight alignment with control and compliance processes

Review and report business performance on a regular basis

Skills and Knowledge
•    Ability to drive sales through channel partners and have 7+years of relevant experience
•    Familiarity with driving sales through Volume/MOQ (stock & Sell) motion
•    Able to translate strategic objectives into a business plan
•    Assists with defining training and development plans for volume channels
•    Expert understanding of partner landscape and climate
•    High level of competitive environment
•    Mature individual with strong influence skills to work across a matrixed organization 
•    Personal leadership to stay focused on delivering to a sales plan while navigating a high-growth, dynamic environment 
•    Strong presentation skills to be able to present current business status and future plans to management
