Duties

Transport patients daily by GSA vehicle to and from their medical, dental, vision or approved appointment by the PRC program. Makes preventative maintenance inspections on all vehicles. Maintain interior of vehicles according to accepted practice for sanitary environment and ensures vehicle is kept clean. Keep an accurate record of mileage to turn in at the end of the shift. Complete all mandated training by the service unit and I.H.S as required.

Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. IHS may offer newly-appointed Federal employees credit for their directly related previous non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave. This position is covered by a Bargaining Unit.
