As an Executive Director - Process Improvement Director, Data Mining & Simulation, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for delivering complex, high-impact strategic projects across the bank. This role will drive advanced analytics, simulation modeling, and data-driven decision-making to support CCB's business transformation and innovation agenda. The scope of data mining includes process mining and task mining, enabling deep insights into operational workflows and task-level activities. A core focus of the role is accelerating decision-making with AI-enabled analytics, to improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of insights and enable sustained business transformation.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data mining and simulation specialists, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Oversee the design and delivery of complex data mining and simulation engagements—including process mining and task mining—in support of strategic initiatives across multiple business units
- Lead adoption and integration of AI to accelerate analysis, improve accuracy, and scale insights for measurable business impact
- Manage process improvement initiatives using advanced analytics to identify operational inefficiencies, and deliver impactful recommendations
- Establish best practices, standards, and methodologies for process/task mining, simulation, analytics, and AI within the consulting group
- Develop deep, trust-based advisory relationships with key client stakeholders and senior leaders, ensuring satisfaction and value throughout engagements
- Use executive-level storytelling to communicate complex strategies and change recommendations to diverse stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving understanding
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Deep experience in data mining (including process mining and task mining), simulation modeling, advanced analytics, and AI, preferably within financial services or consulting
- Proven people leadership and complex project delivery experience, including leading cross-functional teams and building a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Strong proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Alteryx), simulation tools, AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub CoPilot), and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including advanced conflict management and a track record of resolving complex organizational conflicts and driving alignment
