Job Description:


The Radiation Therapist 2 is a senior-level clinical professional who delivers high -quality radiation therapy
to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and treatment plans. This role requires advanced
clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of the radiation therapy. The radiation
therapist 2 serves as a mentor to junior staff, ensures compliance with safety protocols, and may assist in
education, training and coordination of treatment planning. Performs CT simulations as ordered by the
physician.


Minimum Qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
• ARRT certification and current state licensure
• Minimum five (5) years experience in radiation therapy including CT simulation
• Strong knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g. ARIA , EPIC) and modern
radiation therapy techniques (IMRT,SBRT,SRS,IGRT,DIBH)
• BLS/CPR certified
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills


Preferred Qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
• ARRT certification and current state licensure
• Minimum five (5) years experience in radiation therapy including CT simulation
• Strong knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g. ARIA , EPIC) and modern
radiation therapy techniques (IMRT,SBRT,SRS,IGRT,DIBH)
• BLS/CPR certified
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
