District Manager – Property Management
Reports to: Regional Manager
Location: Western New York
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $85,000 (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Overview
National Property Management Associates, Inc. is looking for an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee the operations of 10 residential apartment communities and 1 commercial property totaling 1,152 units in the Western New York area. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing asset performance, and leading on-site teams to deliver high-quality property management services. The ideal candidate will have a progressive background in property management and must have excellent leadership skills along with the ability to manage employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of properties within the assigned district
- Manage and support Property Managers
- Ensure properties meet financial goals, including revenue growth and expense control
- Analyze financial reports, budgets, and performance metrics
- Maintain high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular site visits and property inspections
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve property performance
- Resolve escalated tenant/resident issues professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in property management, with multi-site experience managing large portfolios
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task various duties
- Strong understanding of leasing, marketing, and maintenance operations
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the district
Preferred Qualifications
- CAM, CPM, or similar professional certifications
- Knowledge of property management software (MRI and Nexus)
