We are looking for a Business Unit Lead, Packaging interested in starting a career as part of our Warehouse team at PIM’s Somerset site in New Jersey.

 

The Business Unit Leader – Packaging has full ownership of 24/7 packaging operations across multiple machine and packaging formats. This role provides comprehensive leadership for the Packaging department, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective execution of all packaging activities.

The position is accountable for departmental performance, budget management, talent development, and continuous improvement, while ensuring all regulatory, food safety, quality, and operational standards are consistently met or exceeded. This role establishes strategy, governance, and performance expectations, while leading through the Packaging Manager who oversees day-to-day execution across all shifts.

A strong continuous improvement mindset is essential. The Business Unit Leader must understand, implement, sustain, and improve existing structures while proactively identifying and executing opportunities to elevate safety, quality, service, cost, and employee engagement.
