UrbanTech made a name for itself within the industry working with contractors to help build and repair some of the region's vital transportation infrastructure.
UrbanTech is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our growing team as a project manager to participate in the design of transportation and building projects. Job duties will include direct communication with the client, developing preliminary schemes, directing a design team to develop construction documents, controlling budget and schedule, construction administration, and business development in the form of proposal writing. Applicant shall have 10+ Years of experience in the construction industry. Must be a registered professional engineer in New York with experience as a Project Manager. Must have knowledge of New York DOB Procedures and coordinating with public agencies preferred, but not required: NJDOT, NJTP, NJTransit, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, TBTA, etc. Must also have Steel Concrete Buildings Design experience (Residential and Commercial), Knowledge of standard codes and specifications (AASHTO, AISC, ACI, AREMA, IBC). Proficiency using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for developing final construction drawings. Revit proficiency is a plus.
