As a Residential Manager (official job title is Front Line Supervisor (FLS)), you will develop and lead team members to deliver quality services that help support individuals to learn, grow, and live their best possible lives and thrive as members of their community!
Our most successful FLS' are engaged in continuous coaching and development of each valued employee through positive motivation, assertiveness, accountability, relationship building and decision making using critical thinking skills while managing and overseeing a residential site for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs. Our Managers coach our employees and support and advocate for the individuals we support. We want engaged employees to help drive our growth and opportunities.
This is a salaried position requiring evening and weekend availability, and will be part of the weekend/Holiday On-Call rotation for the agency once trained.
Time will be split between Direct Support hours and Administrative (Office) hours. This specific position does require 32 hours of direct support weekly.
What You’ll do
- Assist with daily tasks/chores like cooking, cleaning, medication management
- Support individuals to practice and maintain good hygiene
- Run errands such as shopping and going to appointments
- Encourage and foster individuals’ hobbies and interests
- Provide habilitation & documentation
- Follow health & safety protocols
- Engage and coach Direct Support Professionals
- Manage & Oversee Residential Home
What You’ll need
- 1 Year experience in field of intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral services
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle to transport during shift and acceptable driving record
- Pass all background checks
- Full range of motion, physical strength, and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
