The Opportunity
Vitra Health is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage business intelligence tools to transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
You will design, develop, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards, while also analyzing data trends and ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance of BI solutions. This role requires strong collaboration across IT, finance, operations, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs
- Administer and manage the Power BI environment, including workspaces and system optimization
- Gather, extract, clean, and analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Build and optimize data models and develop advanced DAX calculations and measures
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs through testing and validation
- Present data findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other business units to support reporting and analytics needs
- Act as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure alignment on data requirements
- Support data governance, security, and compliance standards
- Continuously improve reporting processes and BI capabilities
- Stay current with Power BI features, tools, and best practices
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience with Power BI development and administration
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, reporting, and dashboard design
- Proficiency in SQL Server for data extraction and manipulation
- Advanced skills in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting complex datasets
- Proficiency in developing and preparing a variety of regular and ad-hoc reporting analyses and projects for issues related to management inquiries and initiatives.
- Leverage multiple systems such as NetSuite, SQL, Sales Force, Carecenta, ADP to perform key financial/operational analytics and deliver a concise story of current business operations.
- Utilizes strong PowerPoint skills to communicate high level analysis in easy-to-understand formatting.
- Financial analysis skills a plus
- Design and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Power BI certifications are a plus
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Office-based work in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures near others.
- Client-facing field staff and community liaisons require frequent travel to client homes or community settings; ability to drive safely; work in client homes may involve varying temperatures, odors, allergens, pets, and other environmental factors.
- Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
