Job Description

In this position, you'll develop software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment to support an on-premises cloud solution, utilizing advanced technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, and more. The ideal candidate will showcase expertise and a keen interest in working within a containerized environment, contributing to the development of tools and services that boost software production efficiency in a DevOps culture.



Requirements

Position Required Skills:

  • Experience with Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)

  • Proficiency in writing scripts using Bash/Python

  • General technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible

  • In-depth experience troubleshooting large Linux Clusters

  • Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana

  • Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker

  • Administration and monitoring experience with Kubernetes clusters

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Proficient use of Git for version control

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with a minimum of eight (8) years of proven experience in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in diverse operating system environments.

OR

  • Five (5) years of full-time, directly related work in Computer Science, serving as a substitute for a degree, with at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.

OR

  • An industry-recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, can substitute for one (1) year of experience. Alternatively, a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.


Note: This is a full-time position and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
