SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving merchandise and rental sales, processing service requests, and maintaining customer relationships. The role includes preparing equipment for rental, managing orders and shipments, resolving customer complaints, and promoting products and services. The position requires strong technical knowledge of surveying equipment, proficiency in customer service, and experience with inside sales, order entry, and inventory control. Occasional involvement in marketing efforts is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and minimal travel (less than 10%) is necessary. This is an on-site position in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Direct Sales Rep in selling Leica Geosystems survey and engineering solutions
- Advise clients and process accessory orders, rentals orders, technical service requests.
- Communicate with customers, in person, by phone (incoming and cold calls), or e-mail.
- Confer with potential customers to determine equipment, supplies, and service needs.
- Provide product demonstrations, referring to higher level requirements as necessary.
- Travel requirement: Minimal travel to conferences in Atlantic Canada (NS, NB, NL, PE)
- Provide technical support assistance to clients: escalate to other divisions as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience, preferably in construction or surveying equipment sales or operations.
- Experience with surveying, engineering, or construction instruments (e.g., GPS Systems, Total Stations, 3D Laser Scanners, Digital Levels, Laser Distance Meters) preferred.
- Proven experience in inside sales, inventory control, order entry, fulfillment, and customer service in an equipment-related industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
COMPENSATION
- Pay range is 85K-95K (CAN) with an additional 20K-30K (CAN) on target commission.
