Assists in the care and transportation of patients. Assists licensed nursing personnel in carrying out nursing process. Works under supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Is a strong patient advocate. Demonstrates basic clinical skills in accordance with established procedures and functions of the position. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.


Current knowledge and skills in performing job responsibilities specific to the age and type of patient population served.
Written and verbal communications clear and understandable. Courteous in all communication situations regardless of circumstances.
Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights.
Current Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
Current BLS required.
