50-bed Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a results-oriented Director of Nursing (DON) with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to oversee and support our nursing team. This role ensures the highest quality of resident care in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Key Responsibilities of Director of Nursing (DON):

• Plan, organize, and direct overall nursing department operations
• Provide administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel
• Lead by example and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Liaise with residents, families, and support departments to plan for resident needs
• Ensure compliance with state laws, regulations, and long-term care guidelines
• Oversee state reporting and implement plans of correction
• Uphold company policies including compliance and harassment procedures
• Maintain integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the role

Qualifications for Director of Nursing (DON):

• Current RN license in Nebraska 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a DON in a long-term care setting 
• 1 year of supervisory experience in nursing management
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, practices, and procedures
