Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll provide essential care and support to our residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility and passing all required medications out. You’ll collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment, fostering positive relationships with residents and their families.
Complete all daily medication passes accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies (A significant amount of walking is required for medication passes).
Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Assist with delegated activities of the nursing plan, transportation, and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the facility.
Collaborate with the nursing team to implement patient care plans, maintain accurate records, patient documentation, admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and professionalism, while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current/active unrestricted NAC/NAR or HCA with the State of Washington at the time of application.
- You must have your Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetes certificates.
- CPR and First Aid certified at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire (class provided).
- Washington State Food Handler's permit at the time of hire and maintained while employed.
- Ability to communicate verbally & in writing, in English.
