Coach

 

Purpose:

The Coach creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.  In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Coach must work closely with other staff and the administration of USD 321.

 

Responsible To:

Athletic Director and or Head coach

 

Salary:

Annual Contract

 

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

1. Requires the ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.


2. Occasionally requires the ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials.


3. Occasionally requires the ability to stoop, bend and/or reach.


4. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year round.


5. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.


6. Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.

 

General Responsibilities:

1. Educate the student athletes with the basic skills necessary to compete in their sport.
