General Role Description

Develop, implement, assess, and continuously improve the Company’s code quality and standardization program, providing team and technical leadership to ensure compliance with engineering design standards and delivering automation and control solutions that meet client expectations

Role Accountabilities

-   Lead the Company’s initiatives for continuous improvement of automation code quality and increasing use of standards and predefined code modules

-   Recommend, implement, and report on KPI’s that proactively drive standardized software, efficient testing tools, standards methodology, and other processes improvements

-   Initiate and facilitate team meetings to socialize technical ideas; encourages a culture of technical excellence within the organization and identifies opportunities for adopting innovation

-   Provide technical leadership for multiple technical solutions; performing code reviews; and establishing and enforcing coding guidelines and best practices

-   Drive operational efficiency improvement and technical growth within the operations and engineering team through successful development of team members

-   Direct resources to ensure quality processes and standards for control and automation systems meet client contract requirements and business requirements

-   Ensure quality processes and standards for control and automation systems meet client contract requirements and business requirements, in collaboration with the leadership team

-   Analyze non-conformance data; recommend, develop, and implement appropriate responses in collaboration with engineering management
