Job Summary: Supervisor will assist pre-registration and prior-authorization staff. Promote a positive working environment through role modeling, team development, respect, and being fair and consistent. The supervisor acts as a front-line contact for staff and patient concerns. The supervisor will review and adjust work assignments to be determined by workload and current staffing after consulting with the Patient Access Manager. Preservice Supervisor assists with coaching, training, and performance evaluations. The supervisor will be responsible to assist in training and keeping the department aware of changes. Must be able to work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, and patients.
