2026-27 School Year - Teach college-level English courses (composition, rhetoric, literature) aligned to partner university standards
- Teach general high school English courses (grades 9�12 as assigned) aligned to Minnesota ELA standards
- Design and deliver instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking
- Collaborate within a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum
- Use assessment data to inform instruction and support student learning
- Participate in the district's MTSS process and serve on the Reading Team
- Maintain clear communication with students, families, and staff regarding academic progress
- Valid Minnesota Teaching License in English Language Arts (Grades 7�12)
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree in English or related field (or 18 graduate credits in English) required for dual-credit alignment with partner colleges
- Experience with CIS or PSEO programming
- Strong background in academic writing, rhetorical analysis, and research
- Ability to foster student engagement and critical thinking
