Description

Ford Office Technologies is growing, and we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Purchasing Agent. This role is responsible for purchasing IT products related to internal and external initiatives. You will act as a liaison between internal IT departments, such as the Project Management Office (PMO) and Purchasing to ensure timely procurement of hardware, software, cloud services, and IT subscriptions.


The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented with comfort and knowledge of IT-related items and technology.


Key Responsibilities

· Source IT hardware, software, cloud services, and subscriptions using vendor portals and distributor platforms

· Prepare, review, and process purchase orders accurately and on time

· Coordinate approvals as needed in accordance with PMO

· Support procurement workflows for projects, managed services, and internal IT initiatives

· Inventory & Asset Management

· Purchase order and invoice reconciliation

· Inventory and lifecycle management

· Process documentation and continuous improvement

Requirements

· 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement – preferably in an IT or technology-focused environment

· Experience working with vendors, distributors, and purchasing portals

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously

· Clear written and verbal communication
