The Project Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing Raleigh Outsourced Technical Services(OTS) team with a client location near Richmond, VA. Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) is an integral part of PM Group’s ability to support clients across the complete project life cycle. We have over 50 years’ industry experience, strong technical knowledge and integrated resources. Clients look to us to provide experienced technical professionals that complement their project teams. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial capital projects from planning through closeout. This person will manage project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, contractor coordination, installation, startup, turnover, and field execution activities. The role also requires hands-on construction management support, including oversight of daily site activities, coordination across trades, safety compliance, quality monitoring, and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading multiple industrial construction projects at once and working closely with internal stakeholders, design partners, contractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving on time and within budget.

:
  • Lead industrial capital projects from planning through close out including management of project scope, schedule, budget, procurement, contractor coordination, installation, startup, turnover, and field execution activities. 
  • Provide hands-on construction management support including oversight of daily site activities, coordination across trades, safety compliance, quality monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with PM Group clients
  • Effectively communicate with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, regulations, and codes
  • Monitor project activity progress in alignment with the project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Report potential delays and provide mitigation recommendations.
:
  • 5-10+ years of project management experience in industrial construction environments
  • Experience leading multiple industrial construction projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping, civil, structural, and architectural scopes
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contractor management, and field supervision
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Engineering or related field
