- Instructional and Curricular Leadership: collaborate with administrators, faculty, and other stakeholders to enhance authentic and rigorous learning experiences and innovative pedagogical strategies in the areas of health and physical education.
- Personnel Supervision: Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate coaches, athletic trainers, and support staff. In conjunction with building principals, supervise the work of Physical Education and Health teachers.
- Nurturing a Culture of Well-Being: ensure the emotional, intellectual, physical, and social health of the students are at the forefront of decision making.
- Operational Management: Organize and schedule all athletic contests, secure officials, and arrange transportation.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the athletic budget, ensuring district funds are allocated appropriately.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with district personnel, the Board of Education, and community members to evaluate and enhance programs.
- Community Engagement: Act as a liaison and productive collaborator with the Croton-Harmon Booster Club, local recreation programs, and youth sports organizations.

The Croton-Harmon School District is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as the Director of Health, Wellness, Physical Education, and Athletics. This position is a 12-month leadership role reporting directly to the Superintendent of Schools.
