Job Description

Ferman Volvo Cars of Tarpon Springs is seeking a motivated Parts Advisor to join our team. We offer a professional work environment, competitive compensation, and ongoing training and support. Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, accurate, and courteous service to technicians, retail guests, and wholesale accounts.
  • List and price parts on repair orders and counter tickets.
  • Prepare purchase orders for parts and sublet repairs from outside suppliers and obtain management approval when required.
  • Accurately list and price all sublet repairs on repair orders.
  • Maintain records for all special-order parts and notify guests or staff when parts arrive.
  • Maintain a guest backorder file.
  • Organize and maintain special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensure technicians return all defective parts required for warranty claims and tag them appropriately.
  • Assist with warranty parts scrapping in coordination with the factory representative.
  • Maintain warranty return parts inventory in a clean and organized condition.
  • Participate in perpetual inventory counts.
  • Maintain parts catalogs, pricing schedules, and technical bulletins.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs when required.

Qualifications

  • Automotive parts department experience preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and components
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential Monday–Saturday shifts
