Job Description
Ferman Volvo Cars of Tarpon Springs is seeking a motivated Parts Advisor to join our team. We offer a professional work environment, competitive compensation, and ongoing training and support. Responsibilities
- Provide fast, accurate, and courteous service to technicians, retail guests, and wholesale accounts.
- List and price parts on repair orders and counter tickets.
- Prepare purchase orders for parts and sublet repairs from outside suppliers and obtain management approval when required.
- Accurately list and price all sublet repairs on repair orders.
- Maintain records for all special-order parts and notify guests or staff when parts arrive.
- Maintain a guest backorder file.
- Organize and maintain special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure technicians return all defective parts required for warranty claims and tag them appropriately.
- Assist with warranty parts scrapping in coordination with the factory representative.
- Maintain warranty return parts inventory in a clean and organized condition.
- Participate in perpetual inventory counts.
- Maintain parts catalogs, pricing schedules, and technical bulletins.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs when required.
Qualifications
- Automotive parts department experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and components
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential Monday–Saturday shifts
