You will serve as a technical expert ensuring the reliability and safety of a diverse fleet of industrial forklifts and specialized rigging equipment. This role empowers you to take ownership of mechanical health, directly impacting the success of high-stakes aerospace and industrial projects. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure equipment peak performance.

  • Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections to uphold strict safety and compliance standards.

  • Repair or replace defective components including cylinders, motors, and brakes to minimize field downtime.

  • Maintain precise service logs and documentation to ensure total project and equipment transparency.

  • Coordinate with dispatch and field leaders to prioritize repairs based on critical project timelines.

  • Inspect all machinery before deployment to guarantee safety readiness for complex rigging operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.

  • Proven ability to interpret technical service manuals, schematics, and complex parts diagrams.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting propane, diesel, gas, and electric fuel systems.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic meters.

  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and climb in both shop and field environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a formal forklift mechanic certification or manufacturer-specific training.

  • Technical experience with brands such as Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Crown, or Komatsu.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of aerial lifts, telehandlers, and specialized material handling equipment.

  • Prior experience in welding, fabrication, or supporting high-pressure aerospace environments.
