Job Description

Raw Material sourcing and development

  • Sourcing supplier allocation.
  • Kick off the sourcing and development work.
  • Review, validate information (specification, price and lead time) and confirm the workable options.
  • Reengineering/ Duplication.
  • System update, e.g. FlexPLM, Box.com

Raw Material Approval QA & Risk assessment

  • Kick off fabric QA, Preliminary risk assessment work e.g. mold trial, bonding.
  • Build quality guideline and meet Quality Approval Drop Dead Date.
  • Define and follow up the high risk (quality performance and capacity) material in season development.
  • New fabric process route validation and visit.
  • Review information accuracy and assess Risk Assessment result - decision making
  • System update e.g. FlexPLM, Box.com
  • Digital Garment Testing specimen review, validation of information, connecting with Cross Functional Teams and escalate to leaders to align decision making.
  • QA library management.

Color approval work

  • Color approval development work (Lab dip & Strike off)
  • Color approval - production work (Solid & Print bulk)
  • On site approval - Color approval
  • System update e.g. FlexPLM, Box.com
  • Color approval maintenance.

·       Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role within a factory environment, with production-related responsibilities.

·       Essential prior experience in a graphic printing, laundry, dyeing house, or garment factory.

·       Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, especially Single Jersey, Fleece, and Terry. Experience in color management is required.

·       Ability to clearly present issues and solutions to peers, management, and US customers.

·       Willingness to travel.

·       Established close working relationships with chemical and machinery suppliers within the last 3–5 years.

·       Results-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with excellent communication abilities.
