Master Scheduler

Location:                               Jacksonville, FL (Manufacturing Facility)

Summary Objective

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining integrated project schedules that support engineering, manufacturing, quality, construction, and commissioning activities. This role works cross-functionally with project teams to ensure schedule alignment, critical path visibility, and proactive risk management throughout project execution.

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
  • Create and maintain standard scheduling templates based on business and project best practices.
  • Support proposal development by analyzing requests and generating schedule activities and logic.
  • Analyze project documents to identify critical path impacts and schedule risks.
  • Develop and maintain cost-loaded baseline schedules and project resources.
  • Incorporate subcontractor schedules into integrated master schedules.
  • Partner with project controls to align schedules with project budgets and work breakdown structures.
  • Develop and maintain weekly short interval schedules with field teams.
  • Analyze schedule constraints, milestones, and critical path impacts to recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide schedule reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project performance metrics and executive schedule reporting.
  • Analyze historical production rates to support future project planning.
  • Monitor progress and communicate milestone checkpoints.
  • Participate in project review meetings including PDR, CDR, DDR, and NPI reviews.
  • Adjust schedules based on approved project changes.
  • Support ISO 9001 and other audit requirements.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Location

This position will work out of our Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Or where the employee will physically work.

 

Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office environment. Regular trips to SEA Fabrication Shop for observation and research are required. 


Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

 

Travel
 No travel is expected for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required.

 

Required Education and Experience.

  • Associate degree in management or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 5 years of project and/or construction scheduling experience required.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or management-related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in the power, oil & gas, data center, or district energy industries preferred.
