Job Description

SCOPE

The Export Admin is responsible for implementing, maintaining and reporting on the Export Management and Compliance Program (EMCP).

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Review, investigate and authorize shipments on export holds to customers
  • Investigate and analyze red flags and determine risk to Mouser
  • Deny customer orders when risk to Mouser is unacceptable
  • Maintain records of investigations
  • Classify products as needed with USHTS and ECCN
  • Assist the Export Manager in investigations and reporting on export compliance
  • Assist the Export Manager in audits of export compliance at Mouser
  • Supports and participates in company total quality process while representing the company in a professional manner
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates. Able to communicate with people at all levels. Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum three years’ post high school experience including minimum one year approved related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
  • Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to type data and use a PC for long periods of time.
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other software.
  • Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.
  • Skill Evaluation: Spelling 80%, Math 80%, Typing 40 WPM, and Basic Excel 70%.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
