Scope of Position
The Regional Sales Director – Southeast is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies and sales plan execution for the Haws and Watts family of brands within the U.S. Wholesale channel for their geographic territories. Spearhead regional growth strategy by identifying growth opportunities, building new and existing business relationships, and developing sales goals. The RSD is responsible to deliver the sales objectives including top line, margin and share growth.
This position reports to the Director of Sales – North America. This role is remote and is based in southern US, preferably in Texas.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve Watts & Haws established Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sales goals and profit margins.
- Manage Watts & Haws independent sales representatives in a defined territory for the Wholesale / Industrial Sales Channel.
- Develop and implement annual sales strategies, goals, and quotas for the territory.
- Develop annual strategies, goals, and quotas by product category with each sales rep group in the territory.
- Drive America's Sales Process and metrics within territories: Wholesale Account Plans, 5x5-Engineers, & 5x5-Contractors
- Build awareness and grow market share of all relevant Watts & Haws products by ensuring territory reps and customers are sufficiently knowledgeable and trained on Watts & Haws products and procedures. – Leveraging WW Learning Centers
- Develop annual strategies, goals, and quotas with targeted distribution partners and the appropriate territory rep
- Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships and growth opportunities with targeted engineers, contractors, and distributors.
- Implement sales actions of the Watts & Haws Product lines strategic plan and effectively launch all new products.
- Establish self as Lead Salesperson for designated sales targets, internally and externally.
- Work with marketing to develop effective sales programs and incentives.
- Produce and deliver sales reports to the rep force with the support of the Sales Operations Team.
- Evaluate overall market potential for designated Watts & Haws products.
- Participate in trade shows, buying group meetings, and industry events as needed.
- Present periodic territory reports to management.
- Responsible for driving pricing initiatives by collaborating with product management and providing necessary market intelligence.
- Coordinate with parallel Wholesale sales organizations implement account strategies and drive strategic initiatives
- Be the voice of the customer and promote customer centric mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field or experience
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience in sales and/or marketing management with cross channel/business experience with a very strong technical background.
- Proven track record of professional leadership and excellence.
- A working knowledge of the applicable industry; plumbing, construction, industrial or safety
- Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Proficiency of personal computer skills to include spreadsheets, word documents, and main frame operating systems.
- Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
- Able to work and foster a harmonious working relationship with co-workers.

Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the office at the Sparks, NV location for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.
