Director FP&AJob Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director for the Enterprise G&A function to help accelerate our growth journey.
This unique opportunity within the Finance function integrates business partnership, financial modeling, accounting, reporting, and technology to impact transformational initiatives across our global functions (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Facilities, etc.). This role, reporting to the VP of Enterprise FP&A, will oversee a small team and requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, drive deadlines, and identify creative solutions, and the right candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and customer-service-centric.
What you will do:
Business Partnership - provide direct support to the functional leaders
Develop, improve, and issue timely monthly financial reports
Analyzes results, trends, performance metrics, and provides variance and root cause analyses to guide business decisions, highlighting causes of unexpected variances
Prepares quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans
Support business case and ROI analysis
Global Process & Management Reporting Leadership
Consolidation of global forecast, budget, and long-range plans
Assists in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders
Perform benchmarking analysis of company metrics against peer group.
Assists in preparation of the Board of Directors packages and quarterly management reviews
Coordinates and prepares monthly cash flow analysis and projection
Continuously improving the financial reporting and information capabilities of the company
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 8+ years of FP&A or Finance experience; MBA, CPA or CMA a plus.
Proven experience and ability to be an effective financial partner to the business in a global matrixed organization.
Deep experience with FP&A budgeting/planning/forecasting/reporting applications is a plus.
Demonstrated self-starter who will take initiative to drive results. Strong attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to question status quo and provide solutions. Ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
Ability to understand big picture with a sharp eye for details and inconsistencies. Positive attitude and strong team player with eagerness to learn and add value to the organization.
Demonstrated ability to approach assignments with intellectual curiosity and analytical mindset, eager to understand the business, particularly as it relates to process improvement and business effectiveness.
Strong time management, organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of domestic and international members.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to tailor communications to varying levels with the organization. Ability to influence and drive change diplomatically.
Demonstrated experience performing modeling, forecasting and budgeting-related financial activities.
Understanding of data structure and data analytics along with the ability to work with business units and IS/IT to ensure adequate design of systems and reporting needs
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $166,154.04 USD to $224,796.65 USDFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
