Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient deployment of event staff to designated areas.
- Supervise and train food and beverage staff across all positions, ensuring excellent service and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain ongoing communication with staff to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate and track rest and meal break in compliance with California Labor Laws.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of bars, beer stands, and food service areas as needed, ensuring proper arrangement and presentation
- Promptly respond to calls involving guest concerns, medical incidents, or safety issues, and manage complaints with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and adhering to the policies, procedures, and regulations of various venues, facilities, and events.
- Utilize event technology and POS systems to support operations, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Manage administrative paperwork including timesheets, break schedules, required reporting, and Workers' Compensation documentation for employee injuries.
- Support operational administration by maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Prepare and issue written disciplinary documentation as necessary.
- Must maintain active Food Handler's Card (FHC) and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Cert.
- Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, preferably in the events.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of quality and cleanliness.
