- The OE Director Consumer AP will lead a $735M P&L in 2026 growing to $839M by 2028. Focus a team of professionals on key account management for Global and Regional Automotive OEMs with full P&L responsibility including 4 AP clusters, China, India, Asean and Japan. Provide strategic direction for all activities leading to achieving the AOP, as well as defining long term profitable growth strategies for OE. Improve the company's profitability by achieving the targeted topline and bottom-line objectives.
- Develop a strong professional OE organization for Asia Pacific including account management, automotive engineering and quality. Lead a team of approximately 29 individuals. Responsible for leading and improving all aspects of key accounts management: strategic planning, program development, pricing, and margin performance.
- Drive technology in OE and secure an innovation pipeline (development projects) as well as specific technology projects that can shape the industry going forward and be applied in the replacement line up to create profitable award-winning products.
- Provide leadership in Goodyear's global OE structure to include Europe and the Americas.
- Drive OE business growth through key markets i.e., 50% of China's portfolio; establish footprint of OE in emerging and complex markets i.e., India, Asean & Japan to generate OE pull, improve Goodyear brand image, create replacement growth opportunities for the future.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic direction for all activities leading to achieving & delivering AOP for sales, margin, EBIT and OCF. Define long-term profitable growth strategies for OE.
- Improve OE customer satisfaction to the 85th percentile by driving a fact based and customer centric culture aligned with connected business model.
- Develop world class organization: Develop sustainable organization by continuing developing talent pipeline and ensure strong succession & smooth transition of roles. Develop an organization for the future.
- Develop and integrate the OE product roadmap with the regional marketing and product management teams to drive both OE and REPL growth and share. Drive technology in OE and secure an innovation pipeline (development projects) as well as specific technology projects that can shape the industry going forward and be applied in the replacement line up to create profitable award-winning products.
- Build a solid sales account management infrastructure to provide a strategic platform for long-term growth including reporting, PCP execution and account planning.
Key Experience
- Over 15 years proven sales leadership skill with P&L experience ($200M or greater) in the automotive industry.
- Deep understanding of technical requirements for OE Manufacturers.
- Experience in Asia Pacific leading diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change in a diverse Country Cluster structure.
- Work experience in consumer products and B2B environments.
- Solid interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to lead through influence to create alignment.
