Description: Glide Elementary School is seeking a dynamic LRC Teacher. Ability to obtain and maintain
Oregon TSPC Licensure with Special Education is required. Glide School District operates on a
four-day school week, Monday through Thursday.

    FTE: 1.0

    Work Calendar: 170 days

    Classification: Licensed-Professional

    Start Date: August 24, 2026

Salary Range: $49,218.00 to $85,533.00 per year

Benefits: The Glide School District supports a healthy work-life balance with a four day work
week (except for in-service days), and a robust employee wellness program (state of the art
gymnasium facility, employee fitness groups, partnership with Thrive Umpqua - to name a
few). ODE Highlights our Wellness Program in the April 2026 Education Update!

    District Spotlight
"Glide School District has supported over 90% of its employees with its employee well-being
programs! The district has partnered with Thrive Umpqua to maintain a team of three wellness
coordinators; this team works with a group of staff members to implement ongoing activities
    throughout each school year.
Using the Flourish Grant from Oregon Well-Being Trust, the wellness team has provided many
wellness opportunities, such as snow tubing, cross-country skiing, on-site chair massage, a
Women on Weights club, in-service lunch days, self-defense and art classes, and the very
    popular soup-and-smoothie delivery during workdays.
The strongest well-being programs work to include all staff, and Glide School District's wellness
team truly embodies this idea. Employees in the Transportation Department, for example, don't
always have the time or availability to participate in on-campus activities, but a member of their
team requested a foldable picnic table to use when the weather is nice. This purchase has
helped the transportation staff enjoy spending time together outdoors, and it demonstrates that
creativity and listening to the needs of employees are a cornerstone of well-being work."

Glide School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and
OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee's
salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). District contributions to medical, dental, vision,
and life insurance; Employee Assistance Program, and tuition reimbursement.
