The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all direct nursing services to patients/residents in collaboration with the unit nursing staff. The Nursing Care Coordinator functions as a geriatric nursing specialist, and resource to the staff on the units and to other institutional departments as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Program or an accredited College RN degree.
Experience/skills: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in long term care or a combination of long-term care and acute care. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
USD $52.25 - USD $73.15 /Hr.
The pay for this position ranges from $52.25-$73.15 per hour.
