Job Description
 
US Farathane is seeking an experienced Production Grinder for 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for grinding material for reuse.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance on loader system.
  • Maintain Housekeeping in the grinding and central load areas
  • Understands and follows lock-out tag-out procedures for equipment.
  • Maintain organization of the incoming materials in the grinding area.
  • Back up support to Central Load position.
  • Maintain identity of product ground by properly labeling ground materials.
  • Responsible to maintain full containers of ground product pulled by the Material Handlers and replaced with a clean empty gaylord with an appropr16iately sized liner.
  • Print labels to identify ground product.
  • Clean out grinders and filters when appropriate to avoid contamination of materials.
  • Understands and follows forklift training requirements.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e., Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc).
  • Other job duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Hand/eye coordination
  • Lifting (approx. 50 pounds)
  • Specific vision requirements
  • Effective communication
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, or sit.
  • Regularly required to use hands and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to focus.
Working Conditions:
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Employee may be required to work outside for short periods of time.
