Xanitos is hiring Part-Time Environmental Services Call Center Dispatcher for 1st and 2nd shifts at Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX.

  • Immediate Offers will be Extended for Qualified Candidates!
  • Hourly Pay Rate $15.00
  • Part-Time 1st Shift
    • 6am to 3:30pm 
  • Part-Time 2nd Shift
    • 2pm to 10:30pm
  • Work every weekend.  

Directs the activity of the discharge bed cleaning function, ensuring timely completion of tasks; monitors procedures related to availability and completion task, follows-up on issues related to service and operations.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Demonstrates and promotes Xanitos culture, values, and management philosophy in conjunction with the facility.
  • Proactive in the achievement of the departmental goals and objectives.
  • Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy, orderly and pleasant work environment for staff.
  • Understands and applies knowledge of housekeeping concepts and infection control practices.
  • Understands and is able to determine, explain and develop dispatcher logic and housekeepers’ activities.
  • Directs the activity of the discharge bed cleaning function, ensuring timely completion of tasks; monitors procedures related to availability and completion task, follows-up on issues related to service and operations.
  • Ensures requests have been completed in an efficient and timely manner according to current departmental standards and priorities.
  • Functions as a liaison between Environmental Services and other departments.
  • Develops and promotes positive effective customer service relations with departmental staff, and all hospital employees; ensures accurate and timely dispatch of discharge bed requests; ensures maximum staff productivity.
  • Resolves problems related to or associated with patient through-put; recommends and participates in the solution of on-going problems or trends.
  • Acts as a positive role model; possesses integrity, focus, commitment, flexibility, diplomacy and a team spirit. Is reliable and trustworthy.

 Job Qualifications: 

  • Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
  • Medical cleaning a plus
  • Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
