Summary/Objective:

 Full time position to handle financial management & analysis for a multi-specialty physician group.  This role operates in our Corporate Office, and is not a remote position.





Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, cash management and payroll.

• Performs all tasks associated with the general ledger; including but not limited to, entering 

monthly journal entries, executing monthly closing of general ledger, producing financial 

statements, and reconciling general ledger accounts

• Oversee daily accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of transactions.

• Oversee payroll activities including preparation, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure payroll 

is prepared in compliance with tax laws and regulations

• Produce month-end financial reporting package

• Produces the annual budget and forecasts 

• Actively support other members of the accounting staff – providing leadership, direction, 

accountability, and support as outlined by the CFO

• Manage system of internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting rules and regulations and minimize risk

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures 

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements 

• Works with external CPAs and provides needed information for the annual review & tax preparation. 

• Maintain asset recordkeeping & manage tax & internal depreciation

• Perform other ad-hoc projects and reporting as assigned by management





Qualifications:

• Must have exceptional data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Must have exceptional skills in Microsoft office software (excel, word, outlook)

• Proficient in using accounting and payroll software – Sage Intacct & Paylocity preferred

• Knowledge of state and federal financial reporting laws and regulations

• Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis

• Ability to develop, maintain, and adhere to company policies and procedures

• Must have strong time management & communication skills

• Must have strong management and supervisory skills.

• Ability to keep data, files, and all other company information confidential

• Must possess strong organizational skills & attention to detail

• High degree of integrity and honesty
