Job Description

General Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for serving as the child preparation and profile specialist for the Permanency Services program. 

  • Conducts home and/or office visits with families, children or other professionals.  

  • Meets with and gathers relevant information from birth families, resource families, other professionals and the children to assist in the development and completion of the child profile.

  • Provides post adoption services as needed.



 


Education/Training: A Bachelor’s degree in social service or a related field of study normally required; a Master’s Degree preferred.


 


Experience: A minimum of two (2) year’s related experience normally required.


 


ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
