Job Description
Hourly position: $20.53/hour

Revenue Auditor

Under the direction of the Revenue Audit Manager, this position is responsible for all reconciliation and audit functions performed within the scope of revenue earned and processed through the Gaming Facility. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate audits and reconciliation of revenue and guest tax reports. Ensure Title 31 reports are prepared and submitted in accordance with Minimum Internal Controls and Policy and Procedures.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all games and revenue posted to the income journal.
  • Reconcile all reports per revenue center to cash inventory reports received from the Cage Department daily.
  • Read and update progressive gaming machine liability in appropriate system daily.
  • Investigates and creates variance reports by department to be distributed to appropriate management daily.
  • Prepare exception reports to be reviewed by Operations Controller prior to distribution.
  • Store and retain all supporting documents received in Revenue Audit according to the required time for purposes of external audits. Documents will be destroyed only after the required hold time.
  • Participate in month-end, year-end procedures.
  • Team Members are required to train and test for Title 31 to comply with money laundering requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration and attention to detail is vital.
  • Must be willing to work until the assigned duties for the day are complete.
  • Management may assign other duties and tasks as needed.

Required 

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum one-year experience in accounting/audit/or gaming Cage/Vault.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel. 
  • A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of requirements.

Preferred

  • Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience in the gaming or hospitality industry.



Day shift, must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and other hours based on business needs.
