About the job:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect – Martech to design, orchestrate, and govern end-to-end technology solutions across the digital marketing ecosystem.
This role is responsible for shaping a scalable and future-ready Martech architecture spanning content lifecycle, omnichannel delivery (web, social, and beyond), performance analytics and insight generation. The architect will ensure seamless integration between content platforms, generative AI tools, channel technologies, and data ecosystems while meeting compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
The Solution Architect acts as the technical bridge between marketing strategy, content operations, and technology execution—translating business needs into connected, intelligent, and measurable digital experiences.
Main responsibilities:
End-to-End Solution Architecture
Design architecture for the full content lifecycle: planning, creation, review (MLR), approval, distribution, reuse, and archival
Integrate generative AI tools (e.g., copy, image, video generation) into content workflows
Ensure traceability, compliance, and governance of AI-generated content
Enable modular content and reuse across channels
Architect solutions across websites, social media platforms, CRM channels, and emerging digital touchpoints
Ensure consistent content delivery and experience orchestration across channels
Design and drive Martech Ecosystem.
Technology Integration & Connectivity
Act as the primary architect responsible for connecting all technologies involved in the content and compliance ecosystem.
Define which integration patterns should be used.
Establish consistent data models and taxonomy across content and customer data
Partner with data, security, and infrastructure teams for scalable and compliant solutions
Business & Process Alignment
Collaborate closely with Business Consultants and Program Managers to translate business processes and automation needs into technical designs.
Ensure technology choices support optimized business processes and automation strategies.
Provide architectural guidance during process design to avoid unnecessary complexity or technical debt.
Governance & Technical Leadership
Define Martech architecture standards, blueprints, and reference models
Govern solution design across internal teams and vendors
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), content governance, and brand consistency
Identify and mitigate risks related to AI usage, data flows, and integrations
Mentor architects and engineering teams on Martech best practices
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Monitor emerging technologies and architectural best practices relevant to content, automation, and digital platforms.
Identify opportunities to simplify architectures, reduce redundancy, and improve system performance.
Contribute to the evolution of Opella’s digital and content technology landscape.
About you:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, or enterprise architecture roles.
Proven experience designing complex, multi-platform architectures in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, or similar).
Strong expertise in content management platforms, workflow/automation tools, integration technologies, and cloud architectures.
Hands-on experience with API design, middleware, event-driven architectures, and data integration patterns.
Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
